Hello and thanks for stopping by. I know it's not easy visiting a new church for the first time. It's sort of like the first day of school or the first date. It's awkward. There are questions you may have. Let me try to answer a few of those questions.

First off, a few people "dress up," but most people "dress down." I only wear ties on holidays so, feel free to come however you are most comfortable. The first people you will meet at Hope Church will likely be our "Greeters". Greeters will welcome you and answer questions you may have. Before you enter the auditorium, one of our Greeters will give you a brochure that has information about Hope Church and weekly announcements. Inside this brocure you will find a message from our me, details about activities, and weekly worship times.

Be sure to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and meet some new friends.

There is a nursery located in the Southwest side of our building near the kitchen. The nursery is available during all services. We also have age appropriate ministry for all children thru 6th grade. Classes for children 2 thru 6th grade are located upstairs. I have four kids myself so children are VERY important to me. We have excellent teachers who are well trained and they will provide a safe and enjoyable experience for your kids. They will listen and be actively involved in creative, relevant Bible-based messages. I know how important it is for kids to enjoy church...believe me!

When you enter the auditorium, there will be some friendly people to help you find a comfortable seat. You can read through the brochure or watch the preview slides. We start the service with our worship team leading in a few songs. Then, someone will come and welcome everybody, pray and give an opportunity for giving. We usually take a minute to say "hello" to the people nearby. Then, I share a message from the Bible. The messages are practical, creative and biblical. I often preach in series. If you are interested in previewing a message you can click on the media section of the website.

After the message and response time, we normally close the service with prayer and a song. On the way out, take a second to visit with our staff and others to find out the wonderful ministry available to you and your family.

Thanks for being our guest,

Joe Cook
Pastor
